About Thrive Again Divorce Coaching

Ksenia Muench, MBA

I didn’t build this business because I wanted to become a divorce coach.

I built it because I couldn’t find the support I needed when I was living it.

In 2020, I found myself filing for divorce, ending my 16-year marriage. What I thought would be a fairly straightforward mediation—with a final settlement signed after the cooling-off period—turned into years of high-conflict litigation.

When my divorce escalated, I did what most people do. I went to therapy. I listened to my attorney. I read the books. I searched for information online. I leaned on people who cared about me.

Some of it helped. A lot of it didn’t.

Most advice assumes both people want the same thing: a resolution and a chance to move on. High-conflict divorce doesn’t work that way. Once I understood that, everything started to change. I started  learning the “rules” of the high-conflict dynamic. The more I understood the patterns, the less I reacted to them. The less I reacted, the better my decisions became.

It didn’t change the litigation overnight. But it gave me a way forward. And it changed me.

It also showed me how many women are trying to navigate high-conflict divorce without the right support. They are making decisions under pressure, questioning themselves, and trying to make sense of a situation that most people around them don’t fully understand.

I knew I wanted to create the kind of support I had been looking for.

Why this is different

The credential that matters most
is not on paper.

For years, I worked in the insurance industry, helping people navigate complex contracts, high-stakes claims, and some of the most difficult moments of their lives. I learned how to analyze complicated situations, understand what matters, and stay clear-headed when emotions were high.

Even before that, I earned an MBA with a concentration in conflict resolution—as if I somehow knew what was coming.

But none of that fully prepared me for high-conflict divorce.

It has its own rules. Its own dynamics. And unless you understand them, it’s easy to stay stuck reacting instead of responding.

Today, everything I teach comes from the intersection of professional experience and lived experience.

Beyond the Work

I’m a mom of two amazing young men, a first-generation immigrant, a former concert pianist, and an unapologetic fashionista.

I do CrossFit to blow off steam, love to dance, golf, read, and spend time at the beach. I have two adorable doodles, a guinea pig, and a love for travel, taking risks, and living life without regrets.

Because rebuilding your life isn’t just about getting through the difficult moments.
It’s not about going back to who you were before.

It’s about creating the life you want on the other side.

What it’s like to work with me

Not because they aren’t capable, but because they’ve been carrying too much for too long. They’re confused. They’re exhausted. And, let’s be honest, they’re often being gaslit by well-meaning friends and family who simply don’t understand what high-conflict divorce actually looks like.

Our conversations aren’t about reliving every detail or diagnosing anyone.

They’re about understanding what’s happening, identifying what actually matters to you, and deciding what to do next.

Sometimes that’s preparing for court. Sometimes it’s changing the way you communicate. Sometimes it’s recognizing a pattern that’s been controlling the situation. Sometimes it’s deciding who you want to date next.

My role is to help you think clearly when everything around you feels chaotic.

To help you become the CEO of your divorce. Not the intern.
